We sold this vehicle back in 2012 and it was a no accident previous 4 owner vehicle. On 01/082013 a insurance company reported to Carfax that this was in a total loss accident back in January 2006. 7 years later it was reported. The title in hand is a clear title showing no brands/salvage/ rebuilt. We contacted Carfax and the insurance company is no longer in business and cannot verify that it is a clerical mistake. It is a Carfax Only issue. The title is clear with no issues but Carfax does show it was deemed to be in a total loss back in 06. Our guess it was either a clerical mistake or it was a theft recovery because we can find no evidence it was ever in an accident of any kind. We have used a paint meter and checked and it has never had paintwork. We have the Carfax in hand that shows it clear before it was reported. The vehicle is in great condition and drives out awesome. It has a NADA retail value of $13650 so we are priced $3655 below book value. It will make a great vehicle for someone that wants a long lasting vehicle at a cheaper price than normal.
