Toyota offers the 2015 Camry in LE, SE, XSE, and XLE trim. The LE and XLE are the mainstream models, the latter adding leather, upgraded trim, more sophisticated infotainment technology, Superchrome wheels, and more. The SE and XSE are the sporty models, equipped with unique styling, a sport-tuned suspension, and downshift rev matching for the transmission's Sport mode. Inside, sport-bolstered front seats, steering wheel paddle shifters, and Optitron gauges are standard. Toyota says the new XSE model is the sportiest Camry yet, equipped with an even stiffer suspension, revised steering and bigger 18-inch wheels. Leather seats with Ultrasuede inserts, heated front seats and an upgraded infotainment system are also standard. Switching gears, the Camry Hybrid is available in LE, SE, and XLE trim levels. The Hybrid SE adds a sport-tuned suspension, a recalibrated stability control system, and Sport fabric seats with Sof-Tex inserts. Hybrid XLE models feature leather seats, heated front seats, LED running lights, 17-inch Superchrome wheels, and more. A 178-horsepower, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine is standard, while the XSE and XLE can be optioned with a 268-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine. Both power plants are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission delivering power to the front wheels.The Camry Hybrid is equipped with a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine, an electric assist motor, a nickel-metal hydride battery, and regenerative brakes. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) includes Normal, Eco, and EV driving modes, the latter allowing the car to travel up to 25 mph on electricity alone. Together, these components produce 200 horsepower, good enough to get the Camry Hybrid to 60 mph in a claimed 7.9 seconds.
